The scheme allowed conversion of the 12000 sq. ft office space into 18 bespoke apartments. The works include alterations to the building to provide three entrances, each providing secure access to communal areas and six apartments. Alterations to the car park layout allowed the creation of a private, gated car park. Each of the nine two bedroom apartments are allocated two spaces, and the nine one bed apartments one space.
The internal structure allowed for the increase of the ceiling heights to frame the large sash windows and make use of the natural light provided. Windows were finished with curved head plantation shutters offering a uniform appearance. Modern, bespoke bathrooms were supplemented with Grohe bathroom fittings and clever storage space. Kitchens were designed to be modern, bright spaces and all were completed with integrated Bosch appliances.
Alongside the internal conversion, work included extensive works to the external envelope, hard and soft landscaping.
Following the success of this project, George Martin and their client are embarking on a similar project in 2022.
